From the beginning it was like this. We were born in 1971 from the great dream of Don Manuel Sánchez Cano, a Spaniard, son of peasants, who at the age of 12 began the journey that would turn him into an innate entrepreneur. With more than 40 years of age, together with his children and his beloved wife, he realised a great dream: to create joys and delights.
Faced with critical moments, Don Manuel always said “there are challenges that come for good” and from failure, persistence, effort and a lot of learning, the results were achieved. To be an entrepreneur is to dream and to be resilient.
And remember that it all began in the traditional way! In the kitchen, Don Manuel and his wife prepared the recipes, while the children packed the sweets and cycled through the streets of little Murcia. From the dream and love of the family our story was made!
Little by little, chewing gum, jelly sweets, marshmallows and liquorice were born. With a taste of childhood, the first products tasted like tutti-frutti.
In the 1980s, all these delicacies conquered Europe. From ocean to ocean, we brought joy and created magical moments for more than 100 countries, with more than 1,000 products and more than 90,000 tons of sweets produced around the world. From the dream became the benchmark in Gummies in global retailing.
